Exhibit: Ron Rollins with "Splash: New and Old Works" In-Person

Ron Rollins creates gestural abstract paintings that stress color, movement, and lively action. He is an artist, writer, poet, retired journalist and college instructor and active community volunteer who works and displays in the Dayton area. His visual-arts work is primarily in acrylic on canvas in the style of the American Abstract Expressionists of the 1950s and ’60s.

Rollins has had numerous solo exhibitions in the area and has been part of many group exhibitions, including at The Contemporary Dayton, the Springfield Museum of Art, Five Rivers MetroParks, the Dayton Society of Artists, We Care Arts and the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts in northeast Ohio.

His work is in numerous private collections, including that of the Dayton Metro Library, and has been featured on the covers of Mock Turtle Zine and Flights, the literary magazine of Sinclair College.
