SUMMARY:Erma Bombeck Writing Competition
DESCRIPTION:Submit an original essay online of 450 words or fewer beginning 
 Tuesday\, December 2\, 2025\, in the Erma Bombeck Writing Competition. The 
 contest closes January 6\, 2026\, 8:00 PM (EST) (note the evening close). 
 Four Winners (Local Humor\, Local Human Interest\, International Humor\, 
 International Human Interest) will receive $1\,000\, and a free 
 registration to the workshop at the University of Dayton in April\, 2026. 
 Honorable Mentions will receive $100 each. Entry fee $25. All Ohio entries
