Local author, Dennis Turner, returns to Woodbourne Library to share his new book, An Ohio Yankee in King Alfred’s Court.

An American trial lawyer is thrust into Britain’s ancient Winchester courts, where he must navigate unfamiliar traditions and an egotistical barrister mentor. Their clash of personalities evolves into an unlikely, hard‑won partnership forged through criminal trials and eccentric adventures.
