Genealogy Workshop In-Person
Have you been wanting to research your genealogy, but didn't know how to start? Here is your chance to jumpstart completing your family tree.
Learn to search our free online resources like the Ancestry Library Edition database. Learn searching techniques and tips, and then use your new knowledge to find ancestors and practice hands-on searches. Get all the information Ancestry has to offer.
Please note that this class will be broken into 2 two-hour sessions at the Woodbourne Library. Session 1 will be held from 10-12 and will be a workshop, teaching you about the Library's free genealogical databases and how to navigate them. Session 2 will be held from 1-3, and will be your chance to put into practice what you learned in Session 1.
Cancellation Policy: Cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows result in a two-month registration suspension. Arriving 15+ minutes late counts as a no-show and you will not be admitted.
