Social Security 101 In-Person

American's largest domestic program is here to protect the American public - you are never too old, nor too young, to learn about this foundation of your financial life. Join us as Social Security Public Affairs Specialist Theresa Busher shares Social Security essentials, including: Retirement eligibility, early vs. late retirement options, and how work affects Social Security benefits; Spouse and Survivor Benefits; Using the my Social Security account; Medicare A/B Enrollment Periods. The presentation will be followed by an open question/answer time.

 

 

If you are unable to attend, please notify the library at least 24 hours before the program. Repeated no-shows will result in a two-month suspension from program registration. Late arrivals (15 minutes after program start), will not be admitted and will count as a no-show.

This program is intended for patrons aged 18 and above.
