Fixit Clinic In-Person
An all-ages do-it-together (D.I.T) repair event: bring your broken, non-functioning things – electronic gadgets, appliances, computers, toys, sewing machines, bicycles, skateboards, etc. – for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We’ll provide workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. Whether you fix it or not, you’ll learn more about how it was manufactured and how it worked.
No more than two items per clinic, and items must be cleaned before bringing them in. We will not work on microwaves, tape players, heaters, or gas-powered engines.
This program is intended for patrons aged 18 and above.
