Are you interested in learning what it takes to go from manuscript to traditional publishing contract?
Dr. Randy Overbeck, Southwest Ohio native, will share his path from veteran educator to published, award-winning author of a best-selling series. In this session, he will discuss the steps he took, the obstacles he had to overcome and what he learned in getting his books, the Haunted Shore Mysteries, into readers’ hands and on the shelves of bookstores and libraries. He will also share what steps he took to land a literary agent for his latest manuscript, a historical suspense about the Revolutionary War. Prospective and emerging writers will learn about the processes, resources and time needed to go from initial manuscript to polished product to finally published book.
