Shedding Light on Solar Eclipses

Shedding Light on Solar Eclipses In-Person

Prepare for the upcoming solar eclipse with our friends from the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. We will learn what happens when the moon blocks the light from the sun, and how to safely enjoy this amazing phenomenon! For Grades 3-5. Registration required.

If you are unable to attend, please notify the library at least 24 hours before the program. Repeated no-shows will result in a two-month suspension from program registration. Late arrivals (15 minutes after program start), will not be admitted and will count as a no-show.

Program attendees will be provided with eclipse viewing glasses, made possible by a grant from The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation and the Space Science Institute. One per person. While limited supplies last.
